Associate Attorney
Mai Lani was born and raised in Garden Grove, California and attended UC Santa Cruz where she earned her bachelor's degree in history, graduating cum laude and with honors in the major.
Upon graduation from UC Santa Cruz, Mai Lani then went on to attend the University of Oregon School of Law to receive her J.D.
During law school, Mai Lani externed for the Honorable Michael McShane and Honorable Mustafa Kasubhai at the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and University of Oregon's Office of the General Counsel. Mai Lani served as the Co-Director of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and received numerous awards for her contributions to the Asian and Pacific Islander American community during law school, such as the Asian Pacific Islander Emerging Leader Honorary Award from California Senator Thomas Umberg and the Selected Professions Fellowship from the American Association of University Women.
Upon graduation, Mai Lani worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Debra Velure at the Lane County Circuit Court.
Mai Lani enjoys visiting the coast in her free time and traveling throughout the states to try delicious food.
